Searching for information i got your site and my eyes cut this saying of yours"The top pay for physical therapists just out of school who decide not to travel is around $45 per hour. However, those who are willing to travel to places like Hawaii, Florida, Arizona and other states can make $60 to $80 per hour" and realy it is very informative and this is what my wife has being looking for
thanks,
Gladwell,

With so many needs for physical therapists, expect the physical therapy salary to remain very competitive compared to other healthcare professionals’ salaries, with a strong likelihood for the physical therapy salary to increase as the need for physical therapists grow. The PTA does have to work under a PT, but given the increased demand due to the increase in patients, PTAs are needed more and more and thus are extremely valuable to the PT. More pressure is being put on the PT to delegate the actual therapy to the PTA. The increased cost of the DPT will put pressure on increasing salary for the PT thus the way to cut more costs will be to delegate to the PTAs.

This article provides some outright false information. Not all agencies "take care of your housing." In many cases, you have to find it on your own. Also, in the small print, is the fact that they can end your contract several weeks early if they find a permanent person to fill the position. Also, salary is much higher for travel, at least 30%. In many cases, it's closer to 50% higher, as it should be.

Let's get rid of PTAs in order to re-establish our profession. There will be increased demand for physical therapists/DPTs and a paucity of clinicians to fill them. This will drive salaries to where they should be, so they we don't have to travel. I can think of no other profession where you go to school for two years and have the privileges of a PTA. Begone with you!

I think a lot of people overlook that by posting your information on the internet, every person that is viewing your information is a potential employer or patient, so in a way your social networking sites are an ongoing interview. It is important to note if you were to look at your social media sites as an employer and be turned away from hiring because of the information posted, it may be time to consider either updating your security settings or cutting back on the content being posted. Remember, image is everything when promoting yourself.

GOing along wiht the great cause is possibly starting a charity event of your own. Not only will this allow you to help out a cause you choose and are passionate about, but it helps get your name out there and promote you and your services.
